Overview of the position: Maintain cleanliness of entire building. Complete maintenance projects as assigned. Setup and breakdown rooms as needed for Private Events.

Essential Duties:

  • Dusts all rooms and furniture
  • Cleans restrooms, restock restroom supplies
  • Vacuums carpets and mops floors throughout the club and dining areas
  • Sweeps patio area and dusts patio furniture
  • Water plants, cuts grass, blows leafs and acts as a gardener when necessary.
  • Empties all wastebaskets and ashtrays.
  • Disinfects all telephones.
  • Buffs floors.
  • Cleans and polish brass.
  • Washes inside and outside of windows.
  • Shampoo carpets.
  • Do Not Scratch or Hit Furniture. Do not over stack any piece of furniture without proper paddings in between or chair covers.
  • All furniture throughout the clubhouse at least 1 inch from the wall. Be extra vigilant with the club's property when moving it from area to area.  Use dollies; never drag furniture in the rooms, as it will get damaged.
  • Reports any damaged, burned-out light bulbs and plumbing problems to the maintenance department.
  • Takes trash to dumpster.
  • Polishes glass, table surfaces, counters, shelves, desks, office equipment and door handles.
  • Moves furniture.
  • Fireplaces cleaned and in good condition.
  • Replacing bulbs as needed throughout the clubhouse.
  • Cleans locker-room areas including showers and bath areas.
  • Cleans walls throughout clubhouse when necessary.
  • Maintains outside of clubhouse building( clean garbage dumpsters areas, walkways, patios, and entrances )
  • Cleans exterior of HVAC vents.
  • Conducts deep cleaning projects.
  • Assists with tables, chairs, and other furniture needed for special events.
  • Cleans employee restrooms.
  • Vacuum elevators, cleans and mops stairwells and landings, dusts ceiling light fixtures, does spot cleaning when necessary, checks drapes for missing hooks or repairs needed.
  • Transports and makes sure all linen is in proper storing order.
  • Cleans cigarette containers when in use.
  • When needed helps deliver or retrieve luggage to/from guest's rooms.
  • Place garbage in the outside dumpsters and organizes area making sure there is no boxes or containers lying around.
  • Reorganize all furniture to match the day-to-day set up in all rooms.
  • Organize all linen on the first floor and second floor, any soiled linen to go back to the proper bags for daily pickups.
  • Linen- Organize all linen areas.
  • Log any incident immediately in the maintenance logbook for corrections.
  • Log any pest control issues in the pest control logbook.
  • Cleaning projects as assigned.
  • Completes any other appropriate assignments made by supervisor.
