Overview: Carry out, supervise and coordinate all clubhouse repairs and general maintenance needed for equipment, furniture, masonry and building structure.

Job Duties Include:

  • Coordinates the servicing and repairing of systems of lighting, heating, ventilating, fire, drainage, plumbing, electrical, painting and related maintenance activities.
  • Monitors all work done by outside contractors and communicates the status of each project to the General Manager.
  • Performs various duties involving painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical work.
  • Maintains the AC systems, refrigerators, icemakers, and pool pumps.
  • Installs tile, drywall, makes grout repairs, patches walls, etc.
  • Makes cost estimates for budgeting and contract review purposes.
  • Maintains accurate maintenance and repair record/logs of equipment and machinery.
  • Supervises the maintenance of the parking lots, and/or other areas.
  • Ensures that all building maintenance, repair, and cleaning activities are identified, scheduled and completed.
  • Maintains the clubhouse ground sprinklers system, lawns, shrubbery and trees.
  • Keeps the workshop areas safe, clean and well lighted.
  • Attends staff meetings.
  • Responds to emergencies at any time.
  • Issues supplies and equipment to employees.
  • Collects maintenance and work orders from every department for approval by the General Manager.
  • Maintains inventory of cleaning, maintenance, repair and related supplies.
  • Assists with preparation of special events/parties, decorations, and constructing display pieces.
  • Helps to develop and maintain a resource management plan that outlines short term and long-term requirements for repair and maintenance, capital replacement or capital requirements.
  • Ensures a highly efficient safety program with an emphasis on awareness, discipline and compliance. Helps implement an overall safety program that conforms to OSHA standards.
  • Orders parts for work to be done.
  • Maintains supplies and parts inventories.
  • Interprets blueprints as necessary.
  • Maintains club's vehicles.
  • Completes other assignments made by the General Manager.

Desired Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of managing others and general maintenance experience.
  • Highest level of honesty and integrity
